Subcellular distribution of αVβ6 in 3D Matrix: αVβ6 is detected in invasive pseudopodia (Inset) & forming “bands” around the cell body (arrows). We hypothesise that the bands correspond to sites of matrix constriction and that αVβ6 exerts local forces on the matrix to allow pseudopodial protrusion and cell migration.
