PhD Studentship – BBSRC NLD DTP – Deadline 22/01/2021
We are currently recruiting a PhD student for an BBSRC-funded project:
Ubiquitylation Dynamics in Adhesion Complexes: Impact on Cell Migration and the Transcriptional Landscape
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented PhD student to study novel mechanisms controlling adhesion complex dynamics.
The successful candidate will work on an interdisciplinary research project in collaboration with Matthias Trost (University of Newcastle). You will dissect the “Ubiquitin Code” in adhesion complexes and determine how modulation of ubiquitin dynamics co-ordinates adhesion dynamics, cell migration and transcriptional reprogramming.
The study includes opportunities to spend time in the Trost Lab in Newcastle.
